How Do Neurotoxins Work?

What Can I Expect from Neurotoxins?
Here’s what you can expect from your neurotoxin treatment for wrinkles:
Step 1 – Before the treatment, you’ll have a consultation with your injector. During this consultation, you’ll discuss your goals, concerns, medical history, and any previous treatments you’ve had. Your injector will evaluate your facial structure, skin condition, and the specific wrinkles you want to address.
Step 2 – The actual treatment is relatively quick and usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. Your injector will use a fine needle to inject the neurotoxin into specific facial muscles responsible for causing wrinkles. Step 3 – There is typically little to no downtime after the procedure.
